TDI: committed to Sustainable Logistics

At TDI we are convinced that Sustainable Logistics is possible and that is why we have not hesitated to be sponsors of these Conferences organized by AECOC, the Association of Manufacturers and Distributors, in which the challenges and opportunities of decarbonizing all processes linked to logistics were analyzed.
The highlight of the event was the award ceremony for the 24 companies that have made the most progress in the Lean & Green initiative throughout 2022, out of the more than 100 that are already affiliated with this initiative.

Sustainable Logistics Awards 2022

From TDI we want to congratulate all the winners in these days, but especially our clients:

  • Pantoja Group
  • Bishop Logistics

Thanks to the Gesinflot solution, they have not only managed to reduce costs, but to advance in this long process with the preparation and implementation of the action plan that has led them to obtain this award.
In addition, during the conference held on November 15, the lines of action that leading companies are working on to reduce the carbon footprint of their logistics operations and how they rely on existing technology were shared.

About the Lean & Green project

The project Lean & Green It brings together leading companies in sustainable logistics that have committed and made an effort to reduce the emissions generated by their processes and move towards the decarbonization of the sector.

It is an international initiative whose objective is to help companies in all sectors to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases derived from logistics activities to achieve the objectives defined in the Climate Summit in Paris (COP21) of carbon neutral emissions by the year 2050.”

In the words of María José Rallo, General Secretary for Transport and Mobility and one of those in charge of inaugurating the event, "This is only possible with the collaboration of all companies sector«.
